Terms of Service

The service

ReadHere is a browser-based reader for PDF and EPUB files. The free tier stores everything locally in your browser. The Pro tier ($10/yr) adds optional cloud sync to your own Google Drive.

Your files

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to open and store any file you add to ReadHere. We do not receive or review your files — they stay on your device (and, if you opt in to Pro, in your own Google Drive folder).

Acceptable use

Use ReadHere for lawful personal reading. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.

Billing & refunds

Pro is a one-time $10 charge for one year of cloud sync — not a recurring subscription. Nothing auto-renews and you are never charged again unless you choose to buy another year. If Pro isn't for you, email us within 7 days of purchase at hello@readhere.app for a full refund. Your books and highlights stay in your own Google Drive either way.

No warranty

ReadHere is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working and your data safe, but we make no guarantees. Browser storage can be cleared by the browser or the user — keep your own backups of files you cannot re-download.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadHere and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or other damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to the service

We may modify, pause, or discontinue any part of ReadHere at any time. We will do our best to give advance notice for significant changes. If we update these terms we will revise the effective date above.
